Information Technology

Two fully equipped Computer rooms.

Materials Technology

Technical Graphics room has been recently equipped with PC's with 3D parametric modelling software.

Materials Technology - Wood (Woodwork) Room

Computer Aided Design (C.A.D.) for students not wishing to take   a European language to leaving Certificate level

Home Economics

Home economics room fully equipped to teach the subject to   Leaving Certificate level


Two fully equipped science laboratories and a Demonstration Room   to teach Junior Certificate Science and Biology, Physics, Agricultural   Science and Chemistry to Leaving certificate.

Art Room

Catering for Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate Art,  Craft and Design.

Career Guidance

Careers office with Guildance Counsellor available to meet  students through class contact and by appointment.

Learning support

Students experiencing learning difficulties may avail of special learning programmes on an individual or small group basis in a friendly welcoming facility.

School Library

The school library contains a wide range of books suitable for  students of all ages.


The canteen offers simple snacks at break time and at lunch each  day.


School will be closed for all students on Monday the 21st of January for a staff in-service day.

5th Year Parent-Teacher meeting will be held on Tuesday the 22nd of January from 4:15-6:45

School will close 15 minutes earlier on the day of Parent / Teacher meeting.    

On Wednesday the 30th of January at 7pm there will be an information meeting in the school on the Revised Junior Cyle Programme. This is an open meeting especially relevant to parents of first, second and third year students.
