September 2020
Our Transition Year students visited Galway Wind Park, Ireland’s largest wind farm. It was an opportunity for students to learn how the 58 turbines produce enough electricity to power over 140,000 homes. Production of clean energy being the way forward!
October 2020
Our Leaving Certificate Geography class went on their Field Study in Creg Beach and Clahane, Liscannor, Co.Clare. They spent the day examining the impact of two coastal erosion processes on the coastline. They now return to the classroom where they will write up their findings.
All of our students got involved in Maths Week 2020, completing quizzes, brain teasers and daily puzzles. The aim of Maths Week is to promote Maths in a positive and fun learning environment. Pictured below are the winners of our Junior and Senior Maths Quizzes.
